Activities and highlights in Istria
In the narrow medieval streets with bumpy pebbles from Rovinj, you can almost imagine yourself in Italy. The fountain on the Trg Marsala Tita square resembles like the city Venice. The houses have beautiful facades and romantic flower boxes. Around the square you will find many small shops, cozy restaurants and ice cream parlors.

From Rovinj you can make excursions to the many islands or go overseas to Italy. Right in front of Rovinj is Venice, which you can visit with a 2-hour boat trip.

The interior of Istria has a lot to offer. You can make an excursion to the Plitvice Lakes. This is a park with beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls. Even the road to the Plitvice Lakes is already very impressive.
